The location was close to shinjuku station. That was acceptable.

The centrally controlled air conditioning was annoying. i felt too warm the entire time (even though it was november). the bathroom smelled like ammonia. I am unsure if it's a common drain smell in the area but it wasn't pleasant.

mixed feelings about the stay

small roomunlevel toilet

the room was quite small, I had trouble fitting my luggage. the window looked directly at a wall, so there wasn't any natural light. also, there was a strange smell in the bathroom and the toilet wasn't level. i wish the room was a bit more spacious and cleaner.

decent location, but the noise was a problem

the location was great and close to several train stations.

The noise level in the room was awful. I could hear everything from the neighbors to people in the hallway. earplugs were provided, but they didn't help much with the sound of bathroom doors slamming. it was hard to get a good night's sleep.
